My Favorite Story
Man Kills Himself and Family in Porter Ranch.
Last weekend, Karthik Rajaram killed himself, his wife, his three kids, and his mother-in-law to get himself out of the financial turmoil he was facing. Not only are we in an economic depression but a physical and emotional one as well. The financial crisis in this country has gotten so out of hand that people are finding no other reason to live anymore. I think that makes for a pretty extreme situation. It's sad that this crisis is only now being addressed. When the housing market, and the rest of the economy has been in grave turmoil for years. People are isolating themselves from their family and friends they are so depressed and so lost in this crisis. There are so many foreclosures on homes in California that we can't even begin to count them. I felt this story was extremely relevant and pertinent to what is going on in our day-to-day lives. It's terrible that things like this happen, but maybe some more action will be taken against the financial crisis because of it, who knows..
